Learning about apples

We talked about the different parts of the apple. The kids each took a turn estimating how many seeds we would find in the apple.

When we cut each of the apples there was a shape on the inside. Ask your child what shape it was. After we cut the apples and counted the seeds, we got to take a taste of the red apple, green apple and yellow apple.

 

The kids colored an apple the color of their favorite one after tasting them. We graphed them and found that the red apple was the class favorite.
